The Bullying Project

I recently gave a talk to 300 middle schoolers on bullying and it was AWESOME. Yes, the topic is not light and heart-warming, but having the opportunity to speak to so many kids about bullying – what it is, the effects it can have, how it can be stopped, and how they can get help – was amazing. Bullying is a real and serious problem, and on the day of my talk it was made apparent that it still runs rampant throughout schools and within kids’ lives. It was incredible to see these young kids not only listening, but actively engaged – asking questions, answering my questions, and coming up to me at the end to talk about their experiences with bullying.

That’s why I want to keep speaking out about bullying. Bullying hurts and affects the lives of so many kids. If you’d like me to come talk to your class or youth group or, if you have your own thoughts on bullying and how we can stop it, please comment below or shoot me an email (runningmyselftogether@gmail.com). Would love to keep the conversation going.
